it's actually a pretty old news, it happened in 2004.
anyone who took PL1101e probably remembers the horrible (well i actually thought it was very very intriguing to learn about what a person can do, but still it was horrible even though no one got hurt) milgram experiment which tested the limits of people, to see how far they would go in complying with authority figures even when it is to hurt another person for a bunch of BS. It was a successful experiment I guess shedding light on how normal human beings who normally have compassion and all that would possibly commit such atrocities during wartime. I GUESS u can find the milgram experiment on youtube too.
Well, i thought that this was really a sick prank and i am actually super appalled to see how far it actually went. THREE HOURS? NAKED? IN A MAC RESTAURANT? BLOWJOB??? I really really couldn't imagine how Louise would do all that. And why the hell donna summer and her fiancee west did all that?? I dont know it really makes them all look stupid (when i honestly cant believe they are), or guilty!! (which im super inclined to believe they are all part of it, especially that donna summers) But for some reason i dont understand why the victim just complied. she could just take the phone over and LIKE KIAP IT. and then say sth like 'oops the police officer already put down or ask me to dress up already'.
and why didnt the 27 year old guy do anything when he said it was BS.
I think that everybody is too afraid to be hero nowadays thats why there's so many people dying out there. (me including, im super guilty of that actually)

it shows that this incident was only one of a list of hoax calls made by the same dude. well at least he got caught. SO everybody... prank calls are not ALL that funny lor. (G sling basketball, still thought that was cruel though quite funny about how she complied despite not knowing a thing).
one paper later at FIVE and one tmr. TWO MORE TO GO. exams are a torture too. i know it is and yet i cant help acting in accordance to this system that really wouldnt shoot me if i dont take the exams. and... i am so not prepared =(

anyway i was looking for prototypic space by jean jacques rousseau. well i couldnt seem to find a definition for it. I decided that the way I typed my blogs are just terrible. I just talk into my blog the way I would talk to a person, albeit a close person. And I'm not a very religious person so I usually do not talk about God or gods. Anyway, i thought that i would find out what prototypic space is by checking out the first few links that google list it out. Well, what did i get? a girl saying that if god was a stick then she is the infinite space around the stick.
hmmmms.
Well so i was quite intrigued and started reading more of her blog posts. in fact i was very inclined to comment on one of her blog posts which is about how guys are going for vietnamese brides because guys didnt appreciate how singaporean girls are getting more vocal and smarter. (ie her i suppose)
I reaaaaaaalyyyyyyyyy disagreed. and was like typing this whole long comment about how i disagreed with her. Then i noticed that the post was like in 2006. then i was like. oh gawd. okay nevermind. So i did a quick find for the prototype thing and i saw the whole God thing.
I mean, i'm really not anti-christian. It was really just the way she talked about it which made me think 'what a poor poor girl'. and i suddenly became this mean person who wanted to flame her with comments.
then i decided two wrongs dont make a right. so i decided to scamper back to my blog and talk about instead.
sigh. and she had comments that were telling her 'great post love xoxox' while i have no comments at all =(((
maybe there's something truly wrong with me.
anyway, good thing of today. 1. first paper over 2. saw dudley =)) 3. saw my friends finally after one week of cooping up at home 4. saw marcus after so freaking long. 5. finally know that the nice girl i had been sitting next to for the past sem in Inequalities was called Meisi =))
bad things? maybe that girl and her sad blogposts. well shes a slave to jesus and im a slave to my own emotions. I guess jesus would actually be a better chance for survival since he is all about hope and salvation while i am here being all angsty about something that really has nothing to do with me. I guess it's just one of those things that i WILL figure out this loooooong summer break.

What he's probably not doing is picturing that the other person in the threesome might be a guy. Suggest that to him, and you'll bring his flying car crashing back to earth.
Other Women: He holds on to cards and pictures from his exes
He's either doing this for himself, or he's doing it for you.
If it is for himself, he's basically insecure, and it makes him feel more desired and valuable that he has physical evidence that he was wanted by other women. It's validation that even though he's in a relationship, he has had dates, that he hasn't given up being a man who is attractive to other women.
If he's doing it for you, he's trying to prove to you that you've got something valuable here, something other women want. Again, he's insecure, and won't give his prizes up until he's convinced you're never going to leave him.
it's quite funny, quite relevating to learn that guys can seem so childish and kiddish still (well it's not very surprising but it is STILL funny to read about it).
well i still think that no girls (or guys?!?) should take this seriously if you really have a problem SINCE it really looks like some of them are written by guys to mitigate themselves from their 'crimes'. just read it for laughs still and u may learn to be a bit more tolerant of ur other half. best is always to talk things out with ur BF, or just call me ur BFF =)

I KNOW, it's pretty late into the exams already. some people already have two or three papers already, and SOME? i get this feeling that some people like eum.in.g totally finish their papers already.
but anyway! guess what, one week into NUS exams and I STILL HAVENT TAKEN A SINGLE PAPER!

arhhh. yes, first paper jitters. the jitters because u know very well that the first paper will set the mood for the rest of ur papers. if you feel like u didnt do too well for ur first paper, u are kinda demotivated to work hard for ur next papers. if it happened to be a breeze then i guess good for u. ur next paper will be ur jitters. (nah, im not sure, i do know that i kinda get jitters for every paper im not fully prepared for. but the first one is the worse. especially when no one else is having too!)

i dont know but i think that i will keep on getting sucked into doing soci cos SOCI really brings some interesting perspective and facts that you wouldn't know about. like, i really enjoyed finding out that most of the things in our lives are like lies, or at least they are reality because they are perpetuated 'truths'.
like for example male superiority. and the whole patriarchial system. or like maybe, consumerism
and how singapore's social security is so skewed! i always thought there was well-coverage and all that. but apparently not. it's well-covered but totally skewed to the richer more intelligent people.
i dont really wanna explain because im really not really good at all these and i get pretty presumptious i suppose. Maybe next time i'll tell everybody who is interested to know about all of it. =)
anyway good thing of today. Dardley came over to my hse again =) as he did yesterday and the day before. so i guess those were the nice stuff =)
and my mom plucked out her wisdom tooth.. have any of u ever seen a wisdom tooth? or an adult extracted tooth? THE ROOT IS HUMUNGOUS! i was staring at it thinking how such a humungous tooth could fit in my mom's jaw. also, i am imagining the gaping hole left at the back of her jaw. probably like a tiny cave in there. =(( she's totally relieved but still suffering though. wisdom tooth extraction apparently doesnt hurt but the agony before extraction is unthinkable apparently. shes not been sleeping well for the whole past week. totally, she just keeps waking up cos she cant sleep cos of the ache. and she just thought she was overheaty. which i really suspect she was cos she was binging on all the snacks cos she was so stressed.
